Shears Source was originally started in 1988 as The Cutting Edge. In 2011 we launched My Cutting Edge Shears. Today as we continue to develop our online business we are now ShearSource.com.

Originally we were closely associated with a major hair cutting scissor manufacture located in the U.S. Where we learned everything there is to know about the hair scissor manufacturing process; hollow grinding techniques, scissor design, selection and tempering of the steel used in the blades and handles, screw/bearing tension mechanisms, sharpening systems and techniques, all which are key to the production of a quality hair cutting shear.

Today we use this knowledge and experience to be the best source for the finest quality hair cutting shears to ensure you get best value for your styling needs. We work closely with the manufactures of each hair cutting scissor and insist on the highest quality materials, scissor blade hardness and performance before we will carry a product.

All our shears come with our 14 day risk free trial period and have a full manufactures warranty against material defects.

If you are not satisfied with your shear no matter the reason, just return it in original packaging (undamaged), and we will either refund your full purchase price less a $15.00 restocking/ handling fee, or give you a full credit towards the purchase of any of our other products.
